What are the few things you splurge on and will go to any lengths to be able to?

First, I can't believe you actually iron your sheets - I have thought about it many times but thought if anyone found out, they'd REALLY think I have OCD (which they already do because I'm a fanatic about my floors being sand and dust bunny free).

What do I splurge? I have to say, it's also bedding - I like quality blankets, sheets and comforters and quilts. I have so many blankets and quilts, my H thinks I'm nuts whenever I bring a new one home. But I do, I'm constantly buying blankets and comforters for all *3* beds. After you wash them, you know, they get a little worn, so you NEED to buy more. I'm like you with sheets, one to wash and one to use, but they must be high quality - I hate thin, itchy or scratchy cheap sheets. Yuck. I also splurge on drapes/curtains. I recently changed the drapes in my LR and just this past week in my bedroom (we're getting new furniture so I wanted to finish the look), and in my kitchen last month. Another thing is towels - I love having lots of new towels because the dryer just kills them. And lastly, cleaning stuff. I like to clean but I don't like strong smells or overpowering lemony or chemical scents so I'm fairly particular about what I clean with. Oh, and my bras. I MUST only wear the Very Sexy bra from VS. It's the only one that gives me Ooomph without looking too padded. And natural foods. I hate packaged or canned foods. Fresh only.

What do scrimp on? I scrimp on named brand items. If I don't have to buy named brand items, then I will buy generic or store brand. I scrimp on gas these days by not running out for every little thing - We live a fair distance from where the shops are so I try to do all my errands and shopping in one full swoop. I scrimp some clothing, depending on what it is - like jeans. I used to only buy GAP because they fit my rear good, but now I've experimented with others and they are fine but cheaper. I scrimp on glassware and flatware and dishes....the ones I have are great but I would never had bought them if they weren't severely marked down and I get them for a steal, which I did! I wouldn't really say that I scrimp on much, but I definitely prefer to buy decent stuff, but on sale!

Good question Erin. I had to think for quite a while about this one to come up with ANYTHING that I don't scrimp on.

I like Victoria Secret bras and underwear. I do wear other stuff but if If was rich I would not. I only buy it on sale, but that is still more expensive than anything else.

And scrapbook materials. I will buy them even if it means sacrificing elsewhere.

I'm a name brand freak....I HAVE to have name brand shoes, so I will splurge on a good pair of Nike shoes, or AE boots, etc. And I'm very weird about shoes...every winter I buy a new pair of boots and every spring I buy a new pair of shoes. But last winter I didn't get boots so this winter I got a new pair of AE boots and found them at Value City for $15 and I was fine with that. For Spring I want a new pair of shoes...maybe K Swiss shoes, white ones to go with my jeans and shirts.

We go cheap on a lot of other things...like toilet paper, paper towels...we don't need charmin toilet paper or bounty paper towels. I get the cheaper toilet paper, like Angel soft.

I get my bras from Lane Bryant cause they fit the best so I get those when they are on sale, they just had a sale buy 2 get 2 free..so I went and got 4 new bras and I'll be good for a long time!!

Underwear I can wear from Walmart...the Hanes in a pack..I don't need fancy underwear.

Sippy cups, I like the Nuby's best over Gerber, Playtex, etc.

Erin -- I meant to say that I have one set of sheets that get SO wrinkled, even fresh out of the dryer. I do iron the pillowcases and the top of the sheet (the decorative part that folds over the comforter) but not the rest. It bugs me whenever I see them on there all wrinkled though!

My mood today is
