Thanks.  yeah, I originally set up the good wife to record for 2 hrs, but that didn't work at all, & I don't remember if I did it the second time.  No I'm wondering if it didn't work because I did it for 2 hrs.  I really need to check how much it recorded.  Last season I just set up to record the next show (csi miami, i think) after a while.  I need to remember to check what was recorded before I have too many half episodes, & act accordingly.

well, it still shows that i'm replying to myself when I post.  any idea why some posts are showing the right person & other posts show that you're replying to yourself?

Well, I caught up on one episode of the voice, then fell asleep during once upon a time again.  We're still waiting for ds to watch the walking dead, but he got home late last night so we didnt get to watch.

I finished my e-book & was gonna take a break from Reacher series, but  it said "to be continued" so now I have to read the next one.  I don't even know what that one is yet.  But dh doesnt have anymore downloaded so I need to find out what the next one is & let him know. I was gonna start on his collection of Dean Koontz's books.  DH loves DK, but I don't voluntarily read his books, although the ones I did read (because dh had them laying around) I liked.  I read his Odd Thomas trilogy & it was very good.  I also read Tick Tock & loved it years ago.  Looking at the list, Life Expectancy sounded familiar & yes, I read it, too.  I think I liked it.  I wonder how many more of them I actually read & just don't remember & maybe didn't even realize they were DK's books.

Paper book I'm reading The Diviners by Libba Bray, because dd's reading it & it is in the bathroom where I do most of my reading.  DD met the author at book signings twice. This one is a signed advanced copy. And the author is a local girl - she lives in Brooklyn.

Looks like it's going to be a series.

The Diviners

The Diviners (The Diviners, #1)

Evie O’Neill has been exiled from her boring old hometown and shipped off to the bustling streets of New York City—and she is pos-i-tute-ly ecstatic. It’s 1926, and New York is filled with speakeasies, Ziegfeld girls, and rakish pickpockets. The only catch is that she has to live with her uncle Will and his unhealthy obsession with the occult.

Evie worries he’ll discover her darkest secret: a supernatural power that has only brought her trouble so far. But when the police find a murdered girl branded with a cryptic symbol and Will is called to the scene, Evie realizes her gift could help catch a serial killer.

As Evie jumps headlong into a dance with a murderer, other stories unfold in the city that never sleeps. A young man named Memphis is caught between two worlds. A chorus girl named Theta is running from her past. A student named Jericho hides a shocking secret. And unknown to all, something dark and evil has awakened.

The diviners is a very thick book so I'll be reading it for a while.  Have to find the next e-book to read & I'll be all set.

<<Thanks.  I don't watch Parenthood, but wanted to.>>

You definitely should! It's my absolute favorite show! It would be pretty easy to jump in and start watching (don't neeed to know a ton of backstory) plus Huggs and I would be happy to answer any quesitons!

Aside from Parenthood, I'm watching DWTS. I've also picked back up on The Bold and The Beautiful- I watched it for years and years but then took a break. I read that one of the main characters is retiring so I started watching again. Smile
