yes...took me awhile to figure how to put pics in.

I'm assuming that's one of your mini gardens that you created?

I like the container a lot, is it a bird bath? Looks good!!

I'm reading a book called SIlver Falls.  It's ok.  Little too violent for me but the suspense is good.

Dd and I watched Zookeeper tonight.  It got bad reviews and dd said it was a little "ridiculous"  but I liked it.  lol

Guess I'm a sucker for Kevin James humor.

I'm reading a wonderful book called Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet. It's a sweet love story of a Chinese boy and Japanese girl who become best friends when they're 12 years old. It takes place in Seattle, WA both in the 40's and 80's switching back and forth. Henry's father is strict traditional Chinese and is strongly against Japanese due to the war going on between their countries and will not permit Henry to associate with any Japanese people. Kieko's family is modern Japanese and accepts the friendship and love of Henry and Kieko. Kieko and her family are moved to an internment camp after Pearl Harbor. They try to stay in touch vowing to be together when the war is over, but they eventually lose each other. When many belongings of Japanese families are found in the Panama Hotel in the 1980's, it leads to the now adult Henry finding Kieko again.

This would be an excellent book club book as it has led to many interesting discussions between my dh and I. We discuss with each other all of the books we read and also read many of the same books. He was stationed in Japan when he was in the Navy and loved it there. That was a good experience for the naive Kansas boy and he's enjoying talking about it and I'm enjoying hearing about it again!
