I'm reading The Hunger Games and it is way different from my usual reads!!

At first I wondered why I'm reading such an unusual book, but now I can't wait to see what happens next!!

I want to read it before seeing the movie.

Last time John and I went to the movie theater, we saw a Hunger Games preview. We'd not heard of it before and it looked different and intriquing to me. When I went home, I put the book on my Kindle. Then one of our iVillage CM's was talking about it and I was pursuaded to read it next. It really is good even though the main premise, the deaths, is not my thing. So far, though, the author does not use any gore. If she did, I would have to stop reading it. It's the survival techniques that are so good. The love interests and interactions between characters is appealing too. I expect I will also read the next two books of the trilogy. I just went to Wikipedia and read about it and read too far into the plot. Now I know too much..darn! For anyone who wants to know about it, though, you can read about it here....
