What do you put at the top of your Christmas tree?

Tell us about it, is there a story that goes with it?

How long have you been using it?

Anything else you can tell us about it?

Tell us about it, is there a story that goes with it? I grew up with the most beautiful angel tree topper in the world. She was glorious and I loved her so much. I still look for a duplicate, have checked many antique shops, look on Ebay every year; but have never found an angel that could match my childhood one. I will continue looking, though, and continue placing other angels on top of my trees.

How long have you been using it? I did use beautiful tall glass ornaments on top of trees a few times in years past, but mostly various angels. My angels go along with what is popular at the time, as in a country one with red checkered skirt during the country decorating days, a country pink skirted one, a white and gold skirted one and others that I'm not remembering now. Last year we bought a 4' tabletop tree and had to find another suitable sized angel for it.

Anything else you can tell us about it? One year when my siblings (one sis, one bro) and I were grown up and in our own homes, our mother gave our childhood angel to my sister. Ouu..that was hard to take as I also wanted her. I've never been sad, though, that my sis has her for our angel still adorns the top of her tree each year and I know she loves her too. I just wish I could find a duplicate.

Have you looked at the angel to see where it was made Donna?
Maybe you can find a duplicate that way ?
Does sound really nice though & glad you are/were ok with it!
Nice you find something to go with what you like & is popular at the time

i have a ceramic angel that my mom made me many years ago, however it's too heavy for the tree. so, we have a gold star on top and have had for years.
