Happy Valentines Day to Everyone!!

Busy day for us today, so we'll be heading to Kansas City tomorrow for an overnight delayed romantic Valentines celebration!! We did exchange our gifts today though. ♥♥

Have missed you today & wondered where you are,
So glad to see you!
Aww neat on your exchanging of gifts .. what did you get from DH?
Am sure you're delayed celebration Wednesday will be well worth it :)

I got a beautiful bouquet of roses, white with salmon pink edges and a romantic card. I gave him a huge red padded heart shaped card of candy and a romantic card. Oh, yes, our delayed celebration in KC will be well worth it, will be just as special, and it won't be so crowded either!!

DH left me two cards on the counter before he left for work today,
Just received some pretty flowers from him :)

Yay, good for your hubby!!! See, I love stuff like that!! You can say I love you every day, but you don't "celebrate" that love every day with a card!! VDay doesn't have to cost any money either, a hand written note, a sticky note on his mirror in the morning, a special dinner cooked, or just talking about the things that you love about each other. Non commercial and just as special. As for me, though, I like the gifts too..lol!!

LOL .. yes he did well,
And gifts from the heart are always appreciated :)

Just hanging out at home this evening,
Really why is there one special day to *celebrate* love?
Shouldn't it be felt/celebrated everyday :)

Are you kidding me?!! We couldn't afford gifts, an overnight trip to KC, a fancy restaurant dinner and all that stuff every day!!! LOL!!! Saying, "I love you.", every day is important, but celebrations add more to those special words. I love holidays and celebrating a day of love has always been special to me. When I was widowed, I celebrated Valentines Day with my grandkids. They love the extra special attention on that day too!!

We spent the morning at the hospital so Marina could get her drain out.
I have not been well the last couple of days. Something stung or bit my face and I have been very swollen around my eyes and have had severe headaches. Then tonight we found out that Randy will be delayed coming home. No.one is allowed to.know when they will dock but the wives for security reasons. Well about 50 of the wives blabbed and since they did it is not safe.for the sub to come in. No telling when they will be home now. It's been a real bummer of a day here.

Wonder what stung or bit your face. Maybe you should have it checked out?
So sorry those wives had to blab....you would think they would know better...shame on them to ruin this for all the other wives.

How is Marina feeling now that the drain is out?

The swelling is finally going down so I should be fine. Marina is doing great. She was very happy that she can now take baths. LOL
