Seen someone driving on the highway sleeping?
One driver with her grandchild drove by a car and the grandchild saw a driver...man sound asleep. The grandchild mentioned this to her grandmother. The man was sleeping with his head back, eyes closed, mouth open and hands on the lap. Knowing this was bad, the grandmother slowed her car behind the sleleping driver and beeped her horn. He woke up , looked around and sped away.
Gosh that is scary. I hope never to be in that situation. She was terrified of doing this and wondered if this was the right thing to do. The road expert she wrote to read her story and notified she did the right thing.

Wow..that was great the truckers kept you awake!!
I fondly remember the CB days.
It was such fun talking to truckers when my then 2nd dh and I were on the road.
Funny thing was that they all sounded alike!! lol
What was your CB handle? My dd's were pretty young then and my handle was The Dollies Mama. My DH was The Big Bopper. DD1 was Special K. DD2 was 20th Century Fox. DH chose his and his dd's (my DD2) handles before we met. Those were fun times!!
Now I am reminded of a night in high school where I had gone to see "my" singer in a musical.
At that time, CB radios were very popular - for everyone, not just the truckers.
I had to be home by *that* certain time - as a high schooler, and the only way I could make it was to drive when what I wanted to do was fall asleep.
I used the CB radio to have drivers help me stay awake.
I wish it had been ok to be late getting home ... not back then.
As it was, I was late anyway and got in a pile of trouble lol
But if I had taken time to pull over and sleep, it would have been so much worse.
That man was very fortunate the woman beeped at him and woke him up!! My cousin's husband wasn't so lucky, he fell asleep, drove across the grassy median, crashed into a semi truck on the other side of the highway and got killed.
That is really scary, Aileen.
I've had to wake my dad up on the road.
Also my CA friend has sleep apnea, my bringing it to his attention that he was falling asleep on the road, I guess prompted him to get seen.
Now he has a sleep apnea mask - no idea if he's using it.
No, never saw that. That's awful!!
