Well at least I'm finally making progress!! I found out that I'm 2cm dilated and 80% effaced but his head hasn't dropped enough for my cervix to move forward. My OB was going to strip my membranes but couldn't get to my cervix without killing me. At least I have some hope even if I have to wait longer. It's better than still being thick and closed.

True. Progress is good no matter how you look at it. It will either happen or make a successful induction more likely.

Progress is good! I think the website Spinning Babies has some suggestions on exercises to get the baby to drop. My last baby was really high for a long time but once she dropped labour was quick!
