Ok for the last 3 days I have been losing snotty globs that I can only figure is my plug. I have never lost this before labor. Yesterday and today I have had pink mucus toilet paper. I know to gross! It is so frustrating because no contractions nothing! I know it can be weeks after. But I so hate the waiting game!! On a good note at least something is happening!

You know Monday morning before going to Dr office I had red streaks in my mucus. When I went in I was very thinned out (she didn't give percentage but I was 60% before) and 4 cm dilated. My braxton Hicks had slowed down too for the week. And now here I am waiting on my discharge papers to go home with my baby.

So you never know! I hear some women are dilated and never had (or hadn't realized) bracton Hicks. I will keep my fingers crossed for you that you are making progress.

When is your next appointment?

Usually that means some type of cervical changes are happening!

I los tmy mucus plug with my first the day I went into labor, I lost it 6 weeks before I had my 2nd and 3 weeks befor I had my 3rd. A mucus plug also regenerates.

With my DS, I lost my plug at about 36 weeks and had to be induced at 41 weeks. I didn't have much of a progressive labor and in those four weeks, I went up to a 2-3 and was 100% effaced.

I have never lost mine......unless I was in labor.
Sounds exciting anyways....
Maybe a long walk?

Reading these replies my best thought is this : at least it's something to think about while you're anxious :) it doesn't seem to be very indicative of much. I've never lost mine so I can't say a lot on it.

I lost mine the other day - it was a mega glob and while I don't remember losing it like that with my others, I'm certain it was it this time. But every day since then, SO MUCH MUCUS!! But no pink for me. I know things are happening, just not as fast as I'd like either. Though you're due almost 2 weeks sooner than me. :)

My next appointment is Monday. Hoping he tells me something! I know it really isn't an indication of anything. It is exciting when you see it and a let down when nothing happens lol! I mean I am only 37 +3 so I still have awhile. It's the obsessive planner in me that goes crazy around this time!

Yes ma'am I know that planning feeling being thwarted. That's the part that gets me too at the end.

I felt the same when I lost my plug with DS and I ended up being induced about four weeks later. I saw the midwife, who wasn't my regular doctor, for two weeks straight and she kept telling me "you won't make it to your appointment next week, but we'll schedule you in the books anyway." It was frustrating! What a let down. I hope your progression is coming along well.
