Names?

Anyone have any names picked out yet? I always have such a hard time naming so thought it would be fun if we shared some of the names we liked or are choosing and kept a running list. Let's try and keep them alphabetical by first name [add in middle names if you'd like] as much as we can for easy browsing. I'll start with a few I like and then let's copy and paste the list after that!

I like names that aren't gender neutral or too trendy or that definitely have a short version of the name. I know my personal list will be added to and scratched off many times in the coming months!

Yes its good when you have liked a name for many years. I had two boys and then we had a girl and u knew exactly what I wanted. Now with another little girl im unsure...I had a boys name but not girls. I like Naomi...dh hates it. :(

I've definitely worried about my feelings changing. That is why we changed the name we had originally decided on for this girl. We had thought to name her some variation of Alice Sophia/ Alysophia BUT it was so confusing for everyone that I began to have hesitations. We ended up reverting to our original girl name we had picked in 2007 when I was pregnant with our first. At least I've sat on it for a few years and know I still like Cordelia. That gives me comfort in choosing the name.

When I named my daughter Ava just over 9 years ago no one had that name, now it's #1 for the past 5 years for my state and in the top 5 for the country for 5 years. I hear Ava all the time now.

I used ava as a middle name 12 years ago and no one had that name.

I have a hard time with names...and I need a girls name.

Glad this thread is started.......hope something I love comes along.

I do really like one name......but are you ever afraid in a couple years your feelings might change.?.?. That's a big worry for me.
