Loss :(

I had my ultrasound yesterday that was going to determine the due date and the baby had stopped developing at 6w3d. I was supposed to be 9w2d so it was really devasting to see that. Apparently this is what they call a missed miscarriage, my body still thinks I'm pregnant even though the baby isn't alive anymore. My symptoms are still there but definitely less than I felt at the 6 week mark. This weekend I will be taking some meds to induce the actual miscarriage.

I'm hoping after all this we can get the go ahead to try again very soon.

Best of luck to all of you April moms! Wishing you a happy and healthy pregnancy!

I am so sorry. I had the exact same thing happen to me with my first pregnancy, except that my dr allowed me to m/c naturally. It's devastating. You are not alone. We got pg with DS two months after the m/c. There were no words to ease the heartbreak for me, but I want to let you know that it is not because of anything you did or didn't do, and it happens more often than you may know. ((Hugs))

Im so sorry for your loss. Theres nothing worse then not having any signs that your baby isnt growing anymore. i had a stillbirth on May 1st of this year, and they told us the same thing, the baby had stopped growing. I was 19 weeks. 6 weeks after that I got pregnant with this little one. Just like you I didnt want to wait long before trying again. Of course this is the most stressful time of my life... but Im trying to stay positive.

You should look into the PAL board on there, they've really helped me alot with questions and stressful days. No one understands better then people who have been through it as well

With my first pregnancy, I found out at our 18-week appointment that I had miscarried, and the baby likely hadn't survived much past our 14-week appointment when we'd heard the heartbeat. I had no idea that I'd miscarried - I was still having morning sickness and everything. I ended up with a D&C, which was fine, but the 6 hours in the hospital were miserable (among other things, I was not fond of my nurse). I hope your recovery is smooth and not too painful. :( The whole thing sucks, for sure.
