I am having insomnia off and on. I wake up to go to the bathroom around 2:30 every night. Some nights I can't get back to sleep. I lay there and try but after about 30 mins to an hour I am up. This of course makes me feel fatigued for the day and it's not always possible to nap as my four year old doesn't always want to cooperate.
I can remember with my last pg I would wake up at midnight to eat a bowl of Frosted Shredded Wheats every night during the third trimester. But here I am a month away from reaching the third and it's already started. At least I get some knitting done.
Are you having trouble sleeping? What do you do?
My midwife told me to
I keep my phone next to my bed so I lay there in the dark and look through Facebook or Pinterest or play Angry Birds - it passes some time but looking at that bright screen in the dark makes me feel like closing my eyes again.
4:00 a.m is NOT my friend!!!!!
I've been waking between 4 and 5 to go to the bathroom and I have trouble getting back to sleep after that.
