Light bleeding/spotting

I had an appt yesterday at 11 am and they checked my cervix. Dr said I could have some bleeding from it. I never have before though I know it's normal. Nothing all day yesterday. This morning at around 7 and again now at 9, I have some brown tinged CM. Could it still be from the check yesterday?

Yeah it could definitely be from that. It could also mean more cervical changes too. It is always a mystery eh?

Yep, probably from your check. I never had bleeding from a cervical check before until this pregnancy either. I've had it happen twice. One very rough one I had early on started me bleeding immediately and had me going all night like the beginning of my period, then another one I had a while ago did what you're saying--nothing until the next morning. Soooo much fun, huh?

On my first check a few weeks ago, I spotted for the rest of that afternoon until the following afternoon, then it went away. I got checked on Tuesday and I didn't spot at all. If it gets heavier or turns bright red, I would call or go to L&D.

with it being brown, I'd say it's most likely from the check - brown = old blood. But, I'd just stay alert to any changes since I started out in the morning with some spotting and at 11:11pm, Levi was born a month early - and I felt totally fine most of the day. Crazy things happen around this board!! :)

Thanks ladies. I'm assuming it's from the check at this point because nothing's happened since.

brown means old blood so yes most likely from your exam, also you could be dilating, brown means old :)
