I'm nervous ladies. While being monitored yesterday baby's hr was going into the 180-190 range when I was in pain. At one point they hooked me up and found mine in the 130s just while in the bed. I'm not sure it's good for the baby and I can't monitor her hr at home. Argh! I'm not sure what to do other than monitor movement and try to rest.

That would freak me out, for sure. Could you tell that your rate was that high, like sweating or any pressure on your end? I would relax with your feet up, drink something cool, and try a few naps if the boys will let you. If you feel any feelings like what you experienced yesterday when it happened, I would call or go in. This late in the game, it's better to be safe than sorry.

Were the doctors concerned? I would also go in next time you have any pains or anything to make sure baby is responding okay.

I actually didn't feel anything personally other than cramping in my cervix. At the worst point hers went up to 200. They seemed really concerned, had me roll over and breathe deep, then not even 10 minutes later another doc I hadn't seen walks in and discharged me--saying baby looked happy and not mentioning it. :-/

That's odd. I agree with Chris....if you feel like your pulse is racing, I would go in again.

It's totally doing it again but I'm shaky and dizzy too. I called l&d and they want me to come up. Another evening up there.

Yikes. Hopefully they'll be more attentive. High bp is bad enough for you, but for the little girl.....not good at all. I hope it either stops or you deliver. Keep us posted if you can. Thinking of you.

I'm all hooked up and just waiting for a midwife. The lady on the other side of the curtain is in labor and it's making me anxious though..she is having serious contractions from the sound of it.

I had my doppler out one night and was freaked when babies bb was so sticking fast. Told dr. And he just said sometimes it happens
Idk but if I were you I probably go to l&d for nst everytime I felt off......
