What will your newborn be sleeping in?

Scored a great deal on a rocking cradle, so this one is solved for this household. I'm thinking it's probably large and solid enough for the first six months or so. So I have time to find a crib. :-)

This baby girl will be in a travel sized pack and play in our bedroom at first. At some point we will be upgrading to a crib, but not until she moves into her own room!

I like cradles.  Mine detaches from the base so it can be a small crib on the floor when it's not rocking.  I feel like I've got a baby swing, bassinet, and cradle all in one.  It was really useful with my last baby for the first couple of months or so when he wanted a snug sleeping arrangement but with it being able to go to the floor he can sleep in it longer than the average bassinet or cradle as even if he pulled up on the sides it wasn't a long ways to the floor.  Much safer than a kid falling out of a crib for instance.  Afterwards, I just switched him to his own bed.

I'm hoping a bassinet--but don't have one and won't buy a full price one but if I can find one to borrow or a hand me down that's what I prefer!
