Feeling guilty about eating lunch meat

Yesterday I had a sandwitch -- it was delicious, but I feel like a total jerk for eating lunch meat.

Pregnancy is billed as the time when you can eat whatever you want, but half the stuff I used to like smells nasty now, and many of the things I used to eat are now off limits: sandwitchs, carrots (too much vitamin A), sushi, soft cheese, coffee, tea... the list goes on

Is anyone else struggling with the new rules? Or am I being too hard on myself?  Have you "cheated" and eaten a prego-no-no food yet?

I actually turned my lunch meat sandwiches into melts.  You can eat lunch meat if you heat it up.  Overdoing it has more to do with nitrates and listeria, but heating it will take care of the listeria issues.  As others have said, it's all about moderation.  I too am curious about the carrots.  Never heard of that one.
