Wow...Evidently, studies are showing that regular swaddling increasing baby's risk of hip dysplasia: I saw this

on another board and it prompted me to rethink my swaddling practice: Instead of using regular receiving blankets I opted to pickup a sleep sack/swaddler that according to this boring video helps to allow the hips room to be healthy. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LLqfRQdUP7k
Just an FYI for those who depend on swaddling in the early months.

They are always changing the rules--back sleeping, side sleeping, bumper pads in the crib, no bumper pads, swaddling, no swaddling...........................
