Are you considering speaking with your OB regarding the Tdap?
I thought the article was interesting, as well. Immunization is a topic I do want to address, since I run a home based business with many children who come to my home. I don't want an agressive scheduel after that baby is born, but I do want to protect the baby as much as possible, especially there's a higher rate of non-immunization in this area. That baby will be in a different room, but still...
Hmmmm....interesting. It wouldn't hurt to speak to the doctor about it. Perhaps I'll address it at my next appointment (I'll be 16 weeks). I got the TDAP in the hospital after giving birth to my DD in June 2011 and I breastfed so i assumed that helped provide her the protection she needed until 2 months of age. I plan to BF this child as well, but if the Dr. thinks I should get it while pregnant I will.....that's why they went to medical school and I didn't.
