Well, I had my 30 week check up yesterday.  My uterus us measuring 34 cm.  My midwife is concerned that based on that and my weight gain, 24 lbs so far, that my baby may be too big.  I have an ultrasound tomorrow to see how big she is and what else might be going on.  I'm a little nervous.  Just hoping she is okay.  I do have fibriods that grew when I was pregnant with my DS so they might be growing again and throwing off the measurements.

At least you will know tomorrow!  I measured big with both my boys and there were no issues.  Let us know how the ultrasound goes!

Hopefully all is well.  I'm measuring big with this one but LO is right at 50%.  The doc did comment that she saw alot of water on the ultrasound so that's the reason my uterus is measuring big.  My last baby I had alot of water with too so that's not too surprising.  Hopefully tomorrow will bring good news.  Keep us posted.

I hope all is well, too. My neighbor was measured at 40 weeks by one doctor last week. She thought she was at 38 weeks, and the baby hasn't dropped or anything. Another docotr todl her not to worry at all; the baby will come when it wants to, and the measurements aren't as accurate in the last trimester. So hopefully, that is your case and that's all that is going on.

Well I got my ultrasound yesterday. I have a little extra fluid, normal is 10-20 and mine was measuring 23. Megan is also measuring big, 1 week 1 day ahead. My midwife is already talking c section which really makes me mad. She said that if Megan is more than 8 lb 13 oz according to the ultrasound then they will recommend a cc section. This seems silly to me. My mother delivered an 11 lb 4 oz baby naturally, so why can't I deliver a 9 lb baby. Not only that, but ultrasounds can be off on weight by a lb or more. We were told my son would be over 8 lbs and he was only 7 lbs 4.6 oz. Any my mom was told that my baby brother would be just shy of 10 lbs and he was 11lbs 4 oz. GRRRRRRR

And i always thought one of the points of a midwife is they are more likely to let you go natural!
