Baby Alby is here!!

Sorry for the delayed post!! It's been chaos!!

Alban William arrived in a beautiful home birth on Sat Sept 2 at 3:24 pm, 8 lbs 7 oz and 21 inches long! He had some trouble breathing at first so an ambulance was called to tske him for some help, but by the time they arrived he was breathing fine and crying. I on the other hand was losing more ans more and blood and the midwives couldn't get it to stop until they expressed a whoooooole bunch of clots. So the ambulance took me to the hospital instead! By the time i got there it had mostly stopped, but i had lost almost 2L of blood. They sent me home after a few hours but with no intructions except to rest, and 2 days later on tues my oron levels had dropped so low that i had to go back to the hospital by ambulance again. They finally told me what iron supplements to start on and ordered me to bed for 2 weeks. It's been difficult but hubby is doing a fantastic job taking care of both me and baby, and our parents, midwives and doula have been so active and helpful, we could not have gotten through the last few days without them!!

I'm in love with baby Alby, and i think he loves me too!
