Team Green Surprise!

BOY! Our precious Owen was born on Tuesday morning! I started feeling contractions on Monday evening while I was getting dinner ready about 5:30. They kept coming and I started keeping track of them about 7:30. But I was in complete denial since my due date was 8/28 and I'd convinced myself that baby would be late. Well contractions kept getting stronger, but no real rhythm to them. Some were 4 min apart, some were 10...so I didnt think much of it. Went to bed for about 15 min and then moved out to the couch since they were so painful. I suffered through STILL thinking they were fake until 3 and then we decided we better go to the hospital, but I was convinced we'd get there and they'd send us home. Well we got there and got checked and I was 6cm. I was admitted and had an epidural placed right away. Felt much better and started to push and he was born at 9:25! It went so much smoother than I was anticipating. He was 7lbs 19 1/2 inches. He's perfect in everyway!!
