I pretty religiously work out four or five times a week... I do a lot of high impact group fitness classes. Curious if any of you are ladies who love to work out? When I'm pregnant, I get energized working out and feel awesome that I'm doing it for myself and my little bean! This morning was my first Body Attack class since my positive test. I could definately noticed something was different. Felt slightly off and every time I jumped bounced or kicked... my boobs reminded me I was pregnant! Ha!

I love to run. I had to stop running with my first because I had a MC before him and the doc didn't want me running in the heat of the summer. We'll see how this one goes. I hope I don't have to stop again!

Well, I do martial arts. I was definitely off in my 1st class after my BFP. I held back and was worried I would over do it. Hopefully I can find a good balance.

Not this time. With my last pregnancy (3rd child, 18mo), I ran through the whole thing. 2-8 miles at a time, all the way until I was in labor, when I ran 2 miles.

I don't know why, but I have this nagging feeling I shouldn't do that this time. So I'm slowing it down to a walk (just ran my first half, so I'm OK with this), and going to stick to that and Pilates.

I'm not cleared to work out which is a bummer cause I'm on a serious mission not to gain a million pounds this time. I will just try and walk more I guess. I think if everything goes well after the 1st tri I can do more.

Yep, I am still doing my martial arts - jiu jitsu and kickboxing. But no sparring.

Hi Jennifer,

I saw that you're doing martial arts and looking for some balance. I am in exactly the same boat!

Amanda, I'm going to have decide soon how much longer i can do martial arts as well. I'm not sparring either, but as my belly gets bigger I'm going to have problems just doing the moves. Before I make any decisions I am going to wait until my ultrasound. We did fertility treatments so multiples are a real possibility. My contract is up in a month or 2 so a lot will depend on if my school will work with me. I'm not going to sign a year contract knowing I won't be able to attend for a large portion of the time. If i have to quit Tae kwon do then i will probably just use our elipical.

Hopefully they will let you go month-to-month so you can judge how you are feeling at each stage.
