I am a ChaCha guide and was wondering if anyone else worked from home? I don't make a ton of money, but I am able to make around $400 a month in my spare time. If you are interrested in joining chacha, you can register at https://guideregistration.chacha.com/ and enter my email homerepmgr45@gmail.com. I look forward to finding out what other work from home moms are doing.

ChaCha is a company that answers peoples questions. I have been doing it since 2009 and love it!

I work from home. It's a delicate dance between home life and work life, but it's great.

It does take some discipline.

Cha Cha is basically a reference service. It's not like wikipedia (which is not authoritative in itself, but if an article is cited well and properly, is a good jumping-off point to find reliable information). Basically think of it like a university's reference desk where you ask a question and they find the right answer. In my reference class in library we school we checked it out; seemed like a pretty good service.

I've been working from home since June. I work for a marketing company, and when hubby took this job here in Houston, the partners let me bring my job with me. Our company is more telecommuting than anything these days. We have two offices, but maybe only a dozen employees total working in them.

For me it's been a Godsend. I've never worked before during pregnancy since I was always a SAHM, so it's been really nice to not have to get ready for work ... I don't have to be presentable, LOL. And with my appetite being so off especially in the first trimester, was nice to have the fridge and pantry at my disposal.

You're lucky.

I'm extremely fortunate, for sure. Hubby wasn't going to take this job if it meant I'd lose mine, so bringing this up to the managing partner was somewhat scary for me. But, I'm hard worker, and he knew that. Hubby and I were separated while I went through undergrad and grad school, and I graduated with honors from both, so my boss knew that I had the chops for this. Honestly, I work more now than I did in the office. So much easier to put in OT when my office is just steps away from any room in the house. LOL.

It's a great life if one can find the right opportunity, for sure. :)

I'm with you brie, I work more working from home than I would at an office job!
