Nursing bras

My boobs are killing me! They are swollen and sore, and feel like they are just begging to be nursed. I think part of my problem is that I have completely grown out of my bras, but am wearing them anyway.

So I'm thinking I'll get a couple nursing bras. I need something that lifts, has good coverage, doesn't have granny straps, and isn't hideous. Motherhood has a couple that fit this bill, but I've never worn their nursing bras. Recommendations? Have you used theirs? Are any of you even thinking bras yet?

I am fairly certain I will have to get new bras at some point in time, the last time I bought them, I bought them just a little too small (a 32 band instead of a 34, I actually wear a 32 by measure, but am more comfy in a 34). One suggestion that was given to me was spaghetti strap tanks with a built in bras. Not sure how well it would work for larger gals, but I'm a 34B, so I can do that.

I was wearing a 36C. Now I'm at least a D. Maybe more. I wear bra-tanks just to handle the overflow from my too-small bra. I've gotta just go buy them, I suppose.

The tanks are my best friend though. Good tummy support while pregnant, and good coverage while nursing. Win win.

I've always gotten my nursing bras at Motherhood Maternity.
