Do you tweet? Do you pin? How do you think social networking has changed or enhanced parenting?

My husband and I are actually the last 2 Americans under the age of 40 to not have facebook accounts. At least that's what it feels like. No use for twitter or pinterest either (I'm not sure I really understand what pinterest is).

I'm on too many social networks to count anymore, but yes on Twitter and Pinterest. Though I don't do either with any regularity these days. Before I was pregnant and could actually stay awake past 7, I was very active on most of these places, but now with work picking up and being a zombie by 4pm, notsomuch.

And, the older I get, the less I care for FB. I honestly only have an account anymore because of hubby and Libby. I think I have 37 friends now. I weed a lot, and I weed family, too. If they cannot communicate with me on FB, then I don't see why I need to have them there. But that's just me. Plus there's so much drama out there on the interwebs. I just don't need it. Some of the things people put out there. I just shake my head.

I tweet for work (WXGrlMegs) ... I have a Pinterest account, but hardly use it! ... and I'm on Facebook and love staying in touch with family and friends who live far away from us.

The problem with all these things is that I feel like they make me a bad mom!! It takes me away from time with my son :( I need to be better about that.

I agree about Facebook. We're in the Marines, and have never lived near family, and are regularly moving away from friends (or they move). It's a godsend for maintaining close ties and feeling part of daily lives.

As for parenting, I find a lot of good page and groups on fb. And Pinterest is awesome for recipes!

Very addicted to FB and Pinterest! I love that no matter how far away my friends/family are I can always keep in touch with them through FB. I love seeing other peoples pictures and watching their families grow!

Ditto about FB.

I have twitter and pinterest accounts, but I just don't get either of them.
