I would consider one, if I hadn't passed out after having my son. I know midwifes are supposed to be able to handle a lot of complications, but I still feel safer in a hospital setting for that reason. I didn't just pass out once, I passed out shortly after having him, again about 3 hours later when I tried to get up to use the restroom, and again later that morning when I did manage to sit up and make it to the toilet, but passed out on the toilet. And a couple of times the second day we were there too. Hence why we were in for 3 days :/

We're having one. The key for us was a lot of research, anecdotes, and interviewing the CNM. This is our fourth and last birth; we can't wait to experience this as a family.
