I've heard that from a lot of people, about artifical sweetner. I personally think it's terrible stuff. It's way worse than sugar IMO, it just has less calories. I wont' be drinking any this pregnancy.
I told my doc last pregnancy, "if you tell me to give up coffee, you're going to have to perscribe me some sort of anti depressant, or anti anxiety meds!" LOL
Last pregnancy I drank coffee the entire pregnancy, this pregnancy, I've give it up.
I have a mug of regular coffee every morning. (Actually, I have 2 mugs of half caf./half decaf., but same thing.) I also proceed to drink decaf all throughout the rest of the day. I was a HUGE coffee drinker (addict) before becoming pregnant, so cutting back to one regular cup a day is a pretty big achievement for me. ( I should mention that this is an unplanned pregnancy, so I didn't have a chance to cut back prior to conceiving.)
Oddly enough, I was a huge coffee addict before getting pg, but just as my mom predicted (and like with #1), I lost my taste for it soon after.

I do everything I can during pregnancy to keep my little munchie healthy, but I don't think cutting out coffee would be good for either of us! ;-)
