Freaking out....

I just went to the bathroom and I had some brownish mucous discharge on my panty liner and when I wiped. I'm 14 weeks and 1 day today. I heard the HB at 10 wks 3 days and had an ultrasound at 11 wks and everything looked fine. My last pregnancy ended with a mc at 10 wks 3 days so I've been on edge a lot since finding out but all that went away once the m/s started, I heard the HB and saw baby on the ultrasound. I have an appt. on Friday morning with my doctor but now I can't relax.
First, freaking out is totally normal. I'd be doing the same. I've had two miscarriages and then a lot of problems with Jake, so I've not really been enjoying this pregnancy nearly as much as I did with Libby and even with Will. I keep waiting for the other shoe to drop. So, I get it, totally.
Second, if you're going to have any spotting, brown is the best. It signals old blood. If you're not cramping or having other symptoms, so much the better. Have you had intercourse lately? Could be from that, and maybe it's just now making it's way down to where you can see it. Quite possibly, too, could be implanatation bleeding that's finally making it's way down. So hard to say. But, it's not red, and that's the main thing. And you didn't mention cramping, so that's good, too.
I'm not going to tell you to relax because you probably won't. But, try to take it easy and try to rest as much as you can until your appointment. Keep us posted. I'll be keeping you in my thoughts and hope all goes well tomorrow. Big hugs to you!

Thanks Brie! I haven't had intercourse recently so I know its not from that. I haven't had any cramping but lots of gas. However, I do have a dull pain in my left side.
I don't blame you for freaking out.
I hope the day has been uneventful for you with no more issues!!
By the time the clinic called me back on Thursday I wasn't able to go in (I
I am so relieved and happy for you! Glad everything is going well.
