3rd us today, the Ultra-Screen...

Tech said baby is fine. Now we wait for the lab results, but feel much better about it already. Got 3 more pics -- so we have 5 now and I should start a scrapbook or something. :)

Tech still has my LMP date on there, but doc says we're sticking with 8/5, so we're 11w4d.. Oh, ETA the heartrate was 156, which I think it was last time, too.

I've gained one pound since we found out we're pregnant. So, that's ok. With as awful as I felt those first few weeks, it's not really surprising.

Well, according to the paperwork I got from my doc, its recommended to only gain 1-2 lbs in the first trimester, so that's perfect, hehe. Beautiful baby too :) I'm kinda jealous of you guys getting this U/S this early, I don't know when I'll get my first one.

I know, right?! Not internal, but it was a different machine than the first two ultrasounds, and they didn't seem to be quite as clear. Kind of would make sense, though, to use something with better clarity since it was the Ultra-Screen. I hope they use this same machine when we go for the gender scan in February. :)

Awww, I hope you get an ultrasound soon!

For us, it's just one advantage of being AMA and having problematic pregancies in the past. My doc has been keeping a close eye on us. But, now that things seem to be going well (knock on wood!), I'll probably just see her monthly for a bit. Next visit is in 5 weeks, so clearly she's feeling ok about where we are. :)

Great pic! Mine just looked like a little blob with a heart beat, yours looks like a baby! You can even see his or her little nose!! Very precious! :-)

It's amazing what a few weeks can do. Our last u/s at 7w4d showed a little blob, too. And forget about our first at 5w4d... that's a better pic of my uterus than the baby! :)

It's so crazy how much doctors vary. I wish there was just a uniform answer to that question! My doctor said 4 lbs!

I can't remember the specifics from the other 2 trimesters, but I do remember that it pushed most of the weight gain to the 3rd tri. So much depends on the docs personal experience and training (and when that training happened, ie older docs). But I think in the long run so long as your overall weight gain is appropriate for you, your starting weight, and frame.

Holy moly monkey loving! That's a baby!! How stinkin cute does 4.0 look? My 4.0's picture is so grainy I didn't even bother posting it.

Aww, you should post it. I might be able to clean it up in photoshop. Ours is super awesome, but after scanning, it's not quite, so I had to do a few things to it. I'd be happy to try to fiddle with yours if you'd like. :)
