I hate my Doctor. We had to change our insurance and couldn't go to my old

Expecting baby #1 August 8th 2012! It's a girl!

That sounds horrible! Is there anyone else you could see? You don't want to have a bad experience the first time.

Hi,

I find it hard to believe that your new plan will cover just this one crappy doctor. I'd call them and see if there are any other doctors, maybe even a longer drive, I bet it would be worth it! I am sorry you're having such a bad experience with your obgyn. Mine was what made my first pregnancy so special and now that he left my clinic I miss him oh so much (when I was planning my second baby one of the 'pros' was that I'd get to see him hehe).

Change the doctor asap!

Is there anything you can do to switch? I had a HORRIBLE doctor with my second pregnancy. She literally sent me a letter saying that my daughter possibly had downs syndrome or another type of serious genetic disorder. I got it the day before Christmas eve. Not even a phone call, a flipping letter!?! I went in immediatly and demanded another ultrasound and that I never see her again. I wrote a nasty letter, but never heard anything back. Turned out, my daughter was perfectly fine, and now she's about to turn 4 and not a thing is wrong with her. Ugh. Try really hard to switch.

I'm so sorry you're unhappy with your doctor. In the meantime, I like to think no news is good news. I'm sure if there was something majorly wrong with the baby, they would have rushed the measurements to the doctor and talked with you asap.
