Anyone else's doctor give you the drink to take home? I have it here, directions are to drink it and come in for a blood draw at exactly the one hour mark on 9/10. My problem is that my ultrasound appt. is at 8:30 (which is when they open) with my Dr. appt. immediately following so I'm not sure when to drink the drink! They stressed that it needs to be exactly one hour. Should I schedule the blood test for a different day since there is so much going on?

Maybe drink it as your pulling up at the dr office for the u/s. It should only take about 30 minutes or so...if your dr's appt is right after in the same office they can take it at the hour mark even if you are visiting with your dr at the time.

That may work, its so unpredictable at the office. Sometimes they are really fast other times I'm waiting for over an hour for my appt.

I agree with Jamie. . .that's probably what I would do. I had no idea that some doctors let you take that test home! Good luck with your test. . .yours is 3 days before mine! Let us know how it goes!
