Are You Sharing Baby's Name?

Expectant celebs are usually coy about their baby name choices -- keeping them well under wraps until after the baby is born while the rest of us wait, impatiently, to pass judgment. But not Snooki! The Jersey Shore star has confirmed to USA Today (after castmates inadvertently spilled the secret during an interview) that she and fiance Jionni LaValle plan to name their baby boy... Lorenzo!
Are you sharing the name you've selected for baby with friends and family members prior to birth? Do you plan to keep it a secret until the big day? What's your plan?

My sister kept the name a secret and was really annoying about it. It is fine if you don't want to tell but don't flaunt it in people's faces constantly. So many times I wanted to yell JULIAN! His name is going to be JULIAN!!!!!!!
I absolutely hate calling my baby "it," and I hate stumbling over "he or she" even more. So when I was pregnant with my son, we called him "Monkey" until we found out the gender and managed to survive the naming process. Then we called him by his name. I'm calling this one "Molliver" because we've already agreed that if this is a girl, her name will be Molly, and I'm pushing very hard for Oliver to be the boy name (though that particular argument might result in World War III). Once gender is confirmed, we will make our final name decision and begin using it.
My friend and her DH just had a baby and they named her Pearl and I absolutely LOVE the name!! However, I can't steal it so I'll just admire it from afar.
With our first, we found out the gender and told everyone the name we were considering. I remember being a little annoyed because we weren't 100% decided but we got all this stuff before he was even born with the name on it. Fortunately for them we stuck with the name ;-) With our second, we didn't find out the gender and we didn't tell ANYONE our names. I think it annoyed some people (mostly my mom LOL) but it was really fun when she was born to not only tell people, 'I had a GIRL' but to also introduce the name for the first time. With my daughter, we actually changed our mind on the girl name pretty late in pregnancy and I love the name she has so I am glad we never told anyone the names so that nobody tried to discourage me when we changed our mind.
I kind of flip flop on this topic, depending on the person I'm talking to. With my son everyone had an opinion on the name we had picked out and it drove me nuts! This time I'm remembering those opinionated people & I probably won't tell them the name until she's here. I really could care less if someone likes the name we have picked out, but I sure don't want to hear that it's "stupid" or "sounds like a bimbo" (yes, with my son - before we knew he was a boy - I actually had a friend who told me the girl name we were considering would make my baby sound like a teeny tiny bimbo or a porn star). So this time, we're down to 3 names we like and I've shared them with my mom and my best friend, but no one else, because frankly, no one else's thought on the topic matters to me.
Once we find out the gender and pinpoint a name (been tossing some ideas around already) we will definitely announce to family and close friends.
