Man simulates childbirth???

I found this blog where they had a man apparantly simulate childbirth.  They put electrodes that produced pain on his stomach and tried to see how he would cope.  I can't imagine this can even come close to simulating childbirth due to things stretching and the changes that are experienced during transition etc. I just wondered what everyone here would think of this. Apparently it's a video that's been circulating for a while, I just hadn't heard of it. I know a lot of us have said that a man couldn't handle childbirth, but I don't think I'd ever let DH strap electrodes to his stomach to prove a point!

I'd have to agree with what it stated in the blog. The pain he experienced was limited to just his stomach muscles but women experience a much wider variety of pain... pulling, stretching, possible tearing, pressure, etc. So, in a nutshell, he was a wimp. :smileywink:
