I know it's been very frustrating with the boards being so different lately.  Let's check in and keep moving forward and try to get back to normal around here.  I hope we haven't lost anyone, I know it's been difficult.

Real name/ Age? Dina/ 29

Due Date? Feb 18th

Team Pink, Blue or Green?  Team Pink

How are you feeling right now?  I've been feeling pretty good, but have had some hip discomfort with sleeping.  I did better with a pillow between my legs the last few nights.  I think I'm going to pick up a big body pillow and try that.

Do you still have a lot to get ready for the baby?  I have barely bought anything! I'm feeling like I have a ton to buy but DH is working so much and the little free time he has he never really wants to discuss buying the big items.  I'm waiting since this job will be done in another week or two and he'll go back to a normal schedule.

Do you have names picked out yet? No, I'm going back to the drawing board today.  DH shot down my top two this morning and I'm unsure on the rest of my list, so I'm going to start fresh today.

Team Pink, Blue or Green? Blue!

How are you feeling right now? I'm feeling overwhelmed but okay. Hoping for good results from my blood work this week. I also had an ultrasound and baby is doing good... 13in and 1lb10oz so that made me feel better. I've also been nesting like crazy. I've cleaned every nook and cranny around here the last couple weeks to stay busy.

Do you still have a lot to get ready for the baby? YES!! Despite all my nesting, I haven't gotten one thing ready for the LO. Oh wait, I bought 2 packs of onesies if that counts for anything...

Do you have names picked out yet? His name will be Avery Charles

BTDT moms any advice on best brands to buy or where to shop for big items like strollers/carseats/cribs etc? I can't say what brands are the best. I've always had Gracco and never had an issue but I know Chicco is a good one as well. I buy things from everywhere. Most of my little stuff has came from Babies R Us but I get a lot of my big stuff from http://www.albeebaby.com/ because they have free shipping over $49. :)

Dina, with #1 we took a lamaze class. It was so much fun and a really good experience but I can't say that it did anything for us since I had c-sections. However, we still talk about it from time to time. At one point during the class, DH had me giggling and it was during the meditation time where the room was dark and the classical music was playing and the instructor kept trying to hold in her laugh too. They had these awesome wooden massage things and DH was supposed to be doing the counter pressure technique but instead he kept joking and telling me to put the thing in my purse to take home because of how awesome it was and, for some reason, I thought it was the funniest thing ever. :D So, even though we didn't gain much from it, it's a good memory for us.

Team Pink, Blue or Green?

PINK!!

How are you feeling right now?

I've been feeling pretty good lately.  No complaints really.  My hips are starting to hurt, but it's not as bad as it was with my son so that's at least positive there.

Do you still have a lot to get ready for the baby?

I have a TON of clothes for her, this will be one well dressed little princess that's for sure.  I still need to get her bedroom ready (it's currently our junk room/office), order her nursery furniture and bedding set/decorations.  But I do already have all of the "must have" items from my son ... carseat, pack n play, swing, etc.

Do you have names picked out yet?

We're stalled on names right now.  I like Addison Kay but my SO isn't so sure about it.  He shot down my second name just the other night by deciding that it sounded like the name of a porn star - LOL!

I like my Gracco travel system for the carrier & infant car seat & will use it again this time.  Once she gets bigger I'll get her the same carseat we bought for DS and that's a Britax Boulevard - I love it's safety rating & feel that it's well worth the price.  Other pieces I'm not so picky about brands - it's whatever has the features that you like & that will work best for your needs & budget.  I bought the majority of my son's stuff at either Babies R Us or Target.

First Time moms Any questions for BTDT moms?

As far as classes we took with DS ... we took infant CPR & first aid (HIGHLY recommend this one), a class about the birth & caring for yourself & baby right after (this one was kind of fun, but I can't say I learned a whole lot, it seemed geared towards people who had never changed a diaper & really had no clue about how to care for an infant, much less about birthing options), and I took a mother's only breastfeeding class (again, not overly helpful seeing as how it's all talk - you really learn about b/f once you try it for the first time!  But still, good information for anyone unsure of whether or not to try b/f & if you know nothing about it at all)

How are you feeling right now? Not so great. I'm having horrendous issues with my sciatic that makes walking difficult, and I'm suffering from TMJ. Also, I ripped another pair of pre-preg jeans, so I'm not feeling that great about my size. Super happy that little one seems to be doing so well though.

Do you still have a lot to get ready for the baby? Not necessarily a lot, but I have some projects that I keep putting on the back-burner. DH needs to prime the dresser so I can paint it, and I'm on the hunt for a reasonably priced rug and curtains for the room. Other than that, I'm sooooo ready to meet my little sweetie.

Do you have names picked out yet? Not settled on anything yet. DH reallllly loves Romilly, but I've been getting a lot of negative remarks about it and I'm super sensitive these days. We're still considering Isla, Annalise and Adelaide too.

First Time moms Any questions for BTDT moms? Do you ladies think that it would be too soon to travel with LO in April? My whole family is planning a trip to Disneyland in April and I will be so so sad if I miss it, but I'm worried that 2 months is too young to fly. The good news is, we would have a direct flight to LAX, so we would only really be flying for a couple hours.

We traveled with Jay when he was 3 months and Braylon when he was 2 months. The thing I worried about the most was their ears popping on the flight so I fed them when we were taking off and landing. To be honest, it was much harder flying with them once they got closer to 1 because they would not sit still and were scared of the noises etc.

I'm still here...kind of! Been frustrated with the board changes lately and it's really slow for me now, so that keeps me away.

How are you feeling right now? Great!

Do you still have a lot to get ready for the baby? Lots of clothes to buy. And still need a carseat and bouncy chair.

Do you have names picked out yet? This has been hard...I'm leaning towards Audrey or Aubrey.

BTDT moms any advice on best brands to buy or where to shop for big items like strollers/carseats/cribs etc? We usually check out Babies R Us....it's nice because you can try out the items in the store....but I always check online before buying to see if I can find a better deal. First Time moms

Any questions for BTDT moms? This is my fourth!
