Ok, BTDT moms... I have an embarrassing question about breastfeeding...

I know we still have a long time until I have to worry about it, but I've been getting all this advice from other moms to really read about breastfeeding before the baby gets here so that I have at least a little bit of a handle on it when the time comes. I keep reading about proper latch and colostrum and schedules but I can't find an answer to the one thing that I'm truly worried about..
...you see, my nipples are extremely ticklish.. I can hardly handle my husband messing with them, so I'm worried that I'm going to be too sensitive to breastfeed and it's REALLY important to me that I stick with it. Is it just something that you get used to? Like, they toughen up or something? I would be mortified if I started giggling uncontrollably the first time I nursed.
