1st time pregnant and bad asthmatic... nervous

Hi Lauren! Congratulations! :) I'm a 1st timer too, well 2nd technically, but I had a m/c, anyways I have asthma and allergies too. my I'm taking zyrtec which my OB said was fine and as far as the inhaler she told me it was most important to keep mama healthy b/c if you can't breathe neither can baby...I was on advair, but talked to my reg dr and she put me on pro-air (albuterol) b/c it made me feel better, the advair just had too much going on with it, plus I can use the pro-air every 6 hours if my asthma gets worse, which can happen during pregnancy. My OB also wants my reg dr to continue to see me for the asthma and allergies. HTH and P&PTs to you :)
