I honestly cannot believe I have made it this far! Not only have I made it but I feel wonderful, baby is doing wonderful and I LOVE being pregnant.

I have worked very hard to maintain my exercise routine and have even added some new exercises which I totally attribute to not feeling any aches or pains to speak of.

I feel totally (or at least as much as possible) prepared for labor and birth. My HypnoBirthing and Bradley classes are over now but they really helped to prepare us both. We took both very early in pregnancy which was a very good idea because it has given us plenty of time to get questions answered and practice. Also, our doula has just been wonderful!

Life is GOOD!

YAY for the June-Bug!

I hadn't realized I was exactly 20w behind you. Guess that's ~almost~ as good as being your DDB.

Congrats on this milestone, sweetie. You'll be holding J-B before you know it.

HUGS to you and the bug,

Gia, I can't believe you're at 30wks already!! You're doing so great. I can't wait to hear how it goes with your doula. I wish we would have had one stay with us the first week after Jared was born. Kristie

Wow...I don't think I realized how far along you are. It's funny how quickly other pg's go. I thought mine went pretty quickly until the last couple of weeks. I really hope the baby is born before the hot weather starts to hit.

Congratulations, Gia, on making it this far in such good health! It really is a great accomplishment for you and your baby, and you sound so very happy!!

My Bradley instructor kept encouraging me to keep up an excercise routine as much as possible near the end. She kept telling me, "you won't believe me now, but it will really pay off." She was so right, and it paid off in so many ways. When other women I knew could barely move from discomfort in those last few weeks, I was still very mobile and didn't have too much trouble sleeping, walking, or moving. Not to mention, it really helped me build up the stamina for the long labor I had. And, recovery was pretty easy and having got used to how good the excercise/movement made me feel when I was pregnant, I was so eager to get out and start doing things after I had the baby. Although, that is not all to say that there will be times in those last few weeks and during recovery when you are definitely going to feel the urge to lay down and relax and rest - and you're body needs that too just as much as the excercise. I think near the end I had gotten really good at just listening to my body and taking advantage of the times I had the energy and resting when my body was telling me.

Good luck in these final weeks!

Yippee Gia and June-Bug! I totally agree - I love being pregnant too! In fact, I am really going to miss having a little squirmy stowaway and a big beautiful belly to show off. But I will certainly trade it all to get to snuggle with little Scooter....

Only in the past week or two have I started feeling slow and sore, LOL. Hopefully you can avoid it even longer than I did!

I have loved seeing you so happy, sweetie. Wishing you a great final 10 weeks (give or take!). :-)

Wow, Gia! I can't believe you are 30 weeks already. Your pregnancy has gone by so fast to me. I'm so glad that you are doing so well. I'm so envious that you will get to experience a Bradley birth. I had my last Bradley class on a Wednesday and Allison was born the next morning via C-section because she was breech and my water had broke 4 1/2 weeks early. I can't wait to hear all about it! Of course, I'm not rushing you - you do still have 10 weeks to go! ha ha Anyway, I'm so happy for you, Joe, and Junebug!

That's so great to hear! I am 21 weeks, and I am very happy as well. I haven't gained a lot of weight, but I do wish I had been on a regular exercise rountine before I got pregnant! I am so excited for you, and I know you are going to be a great MOM!
