Hi Everyone :)

I'm just about 7.5 weeks along now and I am having mild cramps in my lower ab.. I'm not in any pain or anything and the books I've read said this is normal, if there isn't any bleeding (which from my last post, my bleeding has stopped over a week ago). The cramps seem to be more noticeable

Hi Karla

I am 9 weeks along today, and I completely understand! I have had those cramps too. I thought at first that it meant my period was starting as it felt much like I used to every month. I was concerned but as I didnt have any bleeding and everyone on here had experienced similar things, I was less concerned.

My Ob/Gyn said that it was all fine and just showed everything was doing what it should do...

I hope they are not too painful. I find a nice warm (but not HOT) bath helps, and putting my feet up.

Take care

I'm feeling okay now thanks :) I just found out that I was pg about two weeks ago. Before that I thought that I was just having an extra long AF. I've already had three U/S and the baby was showing to be strong (that was a 6.5 weeks), the heart beat was good and everything looked normal. They did noticed that I had a small bleed just around the sac but that stopped for almost a week.. When a saw the blood on Saturday, my heart broke and I was so upset. I have another U/S on the 25th and I'm hoping that the little bean is still hanging in there.

Hi Karla! I know that some bleeding around the time that your period would appear, as well as cramping, is normal. However if you're having both together you may want to call your Dr. just to be safe. My Dr. told me that when I experience cramping I should eat something, drink something, and lie down for a bit; and if it doesn't subside after that I should call. I know that dehydration is the most common cause. I hope it was just "normal" pg stuff - how are you feeling now?

They are still there a bit.. I'd say they are a bit more annoying then really painful. I had more bleeding ( bright red) on Saturday but it only lasted about about 1/2 hour then went to brown spotting. It would of been the same day that AF was to come if I wasn't prego.. I'm wondering if that's all it was.

Hi Karla,

I just wanted to check in with you. How are you feeling? Have the cramps continued or have they let up a bit?
