What I really mean is: I make a 8oz bottle for Kevin at night. He'll finish 4-5oz and go to sleep. Then he'll wake again like 5 hours later. Can I still feed him that same bottle or do I need to make a new one? OR after he's done eating the 4-5oz can I refridgerate the bottle and feed it to him later??????????
I feel like Im being a lazy mother. However I also feel that Im wasting alot of formula because he has a funny eating schedule.
I feed him like 8 times a day! And he's only 7 wks! My day with him goes like this: I put to bed at 10pm after his bath and feed him 2-4oz he sleeps till 3am and then eats 4-6oz and then wakes us 7-8am and eats anothoer 4-5oz. Then he takes another nap and wakes up every 3hrs to eat 2oz, sleeps for 3-4 hrs and then eat 4-6oz again!
I cant really predict how many ounces he will eat. And there really wouldnt be if formula wasnt so expensive and we're struggling with money as it is and Im already on WIC and still the formula they give me is not enough! So Am I being a bad mom????

"Formula milk should not be left out of the fridge at room temperature for longer than it takes to feed your baby - about one hour -- due to the risk of contamination from bacteria in the air. If you are away from home, however, there are various methods and products available to reduce the likelihood of this happening and give you more flexibility. "

Are you getting liquid or powder from WIC?

Im getting the powder from WIC. And I do use the smaller bottles but he just drinks them too fast and then he's still hungry.

depends on how hot or cool your area. Most time milk does spoil if not careful. but I think you shouldn't keep it out for more than 2 hrs.
