Intro - 6 Weeks

Hi, my name is Leigh. I'm 6 weeks pregant, due 12/05/2011. My husband and I got married 02/26/2011 and we're pretty positive this is a wedding night baby! :smileysurprised: It's a little earlier than we originally planned but we're very excited nonetheless.

It's been somewhat of a bumpy already. I took a pregnancy test last Monday because my period was late and breasts were VERY sore - it was positive. On Friday evening I had excruciating abdominal pain immediately followed by bleeding and one small clot the size of a blueberry. I was sure I had a misscarriage. I called the on-call doctor and they told to me to watch for a few things but to change my appt that was originally scheduled with a mid-wife for this week to a physician's appt so they could do an ultrasound. The bleeding stopped and I didn't have any more bleeding or pain the rest of the weekend. My appointment was Tuesday and lo and behold, I didn't have a miscarriage! So it's been a helluva roller coaster so far.

I'm looking forward to "meeting" all of you and hopefully learning along the way.
