I thought I was going to escape.  I was wrong.  It hit me yesterday and I feel like I've been run over by a truck!  Help!  What helps with morning sickness?  Any brilliant suggestions?

Morning sickness is no fun at all!  Thankfully, as mentioned by the previous poster, it usually goes away by 12 weeks (hang in there!).  Small meals do help, as well as eating a few crackers before you get up.  I also had luck with sour things (like Preggie Pops, Jolly Ranchers, etc). I'm not sure why but they took the edge off.  Try to rest when you can and have faith knowing it won't last forever!  Keep us posted on how you are doing!

1) Eating smaller portions and more frequent meals

2) Avoiding foods that trigger it- spicy and greasy foods

3) Eating ginger snaps (ginger is supposed to help)

Some women don't get sick, some only the first trimester, while others are sick their whole pregnancy. Generally, if you get morning sickness, it'll go away around 12 weeks.
