Pregnant and so excited!

After trying to conceive for about 6 months, my hubby and I recently found out that we are pregnant! I am 6 weeks along and so excited. I can't wait to tell my family and friends. How long did you wait to share the news? We'd like to wait until after our first doctor appointment to tell close family, but I think we will end up telling them on Easter, which will be the week before our appointment. I hope to wait until my second trimester starts at the end of May to tell our friends.

Hi - congrats!!! I couldn't wait to tell - my parents, siblings, and close friends knew within days of me finding out. Extended family found out about 2 weeks after that, so when I was about 6 weeks along. I know some people are afraid to share the news before the 1st trimester is over; but I just never worried about that. Easter seems like a good time to share some wonderful news!

I always waited until after my first appointment to share the news with family but I think telling them on Easter would be super special! Best of luck to you as you decide on the right time to share the news!
