I had an epidural with my first child but it wasn't the best of experiences.  I'm thinking I *might* want to go natural this time around but I have not totally decided yet. Anyone else planning to go natural? Any tips?

I had an epidural with my son, ended up not taking and he was born natural. HORRID labor and birth. With my daughter I go an epidural, it took, and was an amazing delivry compared to my sons. only 5 hours of labor and 17 minutes of pushing. MUCH better then the 2 hours it took to get her brother out!! I plan on getting one again this time.

i did not have any medication or epidural with my DD. i had a fantastic experience. i went in with the attitude that if i needed it i would get it but would try not to. in the end i think its better not to set yourself up and have too many expectations just see how it goes, a different dr can make all the difference in pain relief by the way.
