I seem to always carry my babies around with me, just not in a carrier.

I was considering getting one as well since I'll have a one year old running around. Hmmm hopefully someone comments to help us out

We are getting two carriers-- one that is a sling and one that is a more structured carrier.

A friend of mine is about 5 foot 1 and loves the Ergo.

I highly recommend the Ergo!

My friend gave me a Moby which I'm going to start practicing using. I am debating on a Baby Bjorn or an Ergo. With the Baby Bjorn, I didn't like how so many of the reviews talk about lower back pain resulting after 10 or 20 minutes of use.

You can easily eliminate the lower back pain with the Bjorn, but it normally takes 2 people...you have to get the clasp, where the straps cross in the back right at your bra line.

Also, my twins can comfortably wear the Ergo and they are 5'1" tall, so it does for sure work on a smaller frame.

My DH prefers a rigid backpack type carrier to it though.

Hi there,

iVillage had parents put the newest backpacks, front packs, hip carriers, baby slings and wraps for 2012 to the test. Perhaps the reviews will help a bit as you decide on the best carrier for your situation? Best of luck to you in deciding!

Wow, thanks, Kristy.

A couple of the slings I had not heard of before, so it gives me a few more to choose from : )
