If you have a girl.....

You know, I'm on the fence on this one. I think it's adorable on babies and don't have a problem with it, but for some reason, the idea of actually having it done to my baby freaks me out. I might wait until she's old enough to tell me that she wants them, but who knows.

I got both of my girls ears pierced when they were little and I'm so glad. They both hardly even flinched. They were young enough they didn't mess with them or touch them at all. I have friends with kids who are older and want them pierced so bad but they're scared about it. Also, with several girls they mess with them when they are older and get them infected.

My girls were about 6 months old.

She can get them done when she is old enough to realize she wants it....probably school age.

I asked to have mine done when I was four- I still remember getting them pierced.
