We saw our perinatologist today for another ultrasound. The good news is that Violet looks great. She is just a hair under 2lbs. Bad news is my damn blood pressure. its still uncontrolled. She talked about admitting me to Tufts in Boston for careful surveillance. This would include frequent urine checks, blood labs, 24-7 monitoring for my BP and 24/7 monitoring for Violet. I am repeating the 24 hr urine starting tomorrow and the labs on Wed. We see our OB on Wed after that and she will make the decision.

Your doctor is right, all that swelling/fluid retention is very worrisome. I'm hopeful that your labs will look good and that you'll have a plan that can hopefully slow down your pre-e. Have you started BP meds yet?
Keep us posted! They have great doctors at Tufts, and you'll be in really good hands.
Ugh! I am so sorry there is not some better news. Hoping and praying they get everything under control here soon and baby Violet can bake a little longer. Thank goodness for modern medicine. Hugs Kathryne!!!
