Thinning Cervix

Yes I have done the progesterone shots, which unfortunately did not help me. I ended up STILL dealing with preterm labor and thinning cervix so finally they gave me a choice between a cerclage or a different medication. I chose the meds... which were miserable for me because of the side effects, and I ended up going PAST my due date lol. But it was better than having a baby way too early. This time I am getting extra ultrasounds just to keep track of how thick my cervix is... (I cannot have any internal exams done due to placenta previa) so they are keeping track of it and so far, so good. But I feel for you. It is frustrating to have to go through all that, but it is worth it in my opinion. Hang in there! These babies will all arrive safely soon enough. :-)
