Rosie Pope (maternity concierge and star of Bravo's 'Pregnant in Heels') recommends that you don't share your name choice unless you are ready to hear possible negative reactions.

Once you've decided on the perfect name, do you plan to share it with your friends and family prior to baby's birth or will you keep it to yourself until baby is born?

There is no such thing as the perfect name before baby is born. We have top picks but don't decide until we meet baby so we can see what fits.

When I was pregnant with my daughter we started calling her by name after the we found out the gender at 17w. We shared the name with family and didn't get any negative comments. I would guess we'll do the same this time around. Caryn

Well, since I'm still not 100% sure on finding out, and even if I do, I don't think I want to share the gender, names will be kept to ourselves at this point. For some reason, I'm finding I'm wanting to be extremely private about this pregnancy.

We told everyone name and gender with DS... Names for both genders actually. 3-4 people ended up using the names we had, so this time around we've decided to keep babies name a secret until birth.
