Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard just became proud parents, and we love, love, love their baby's name: Lincoln Bell Shepard.

For a boy.

As it turns out, the couple had a baby girl. We're used to wacky celebrity baby names, of course, and this one is certainly tame compared to some others (we're looking at you, Audio Science and Moxie Crimefighter!). Still, we're scratching our heads a bit. Lincoln? For a girlReally?

What do you think of Lincoln for a girl? Are we seeing the rise of a new baby name trend with celebrities- boy names for girls?

I'm not a fan of Maxwell OR Lincoln as girl names.

While I think girls can probably get along easier with boy-ish names than visa versa I still prefer more girly sounding names...but that's just me =)

Eek. I like Lincoln for a boy... but seems a bit odd for a girl. Whatever floats your boat I suppose!

I think of Lincoln as a boys name myself, but to each his/her own I guess. I think Lincoln suits a girl better than Jessica Simpson's Maxwell for a girl. I just can't get over that one!!!

That being said... We're having a girl and most likely naming her Jordyn, so I guess, I don't have too much room to talk. hahahaha
