Ask the questions that are most important to you first. Always pursue specific answers. A doctor's replies are based on her beliefs and training, and her personal experience colors every answer she gives you. Do not expect a doctor to be enthusiastic about something she has never tried before. Like the rest of us, doctors do best what they do most.

Have you selected your care provider for your pregnancy yet?  If so, how did you decide on him/her?  Were you a patient there prior to your pregnancy or is this a new care provider for you?

I'm expecting my second child so we'll be using the same OBGYN I used with my son. I really like him and had a good experience so we decided to go that route again.
